What was the client’s brief for the kitchen?
Our client’s home is a 1950s detached property with a lovely, manicured garden. The brief was to help them create an open plan kitchen/diner that connected to the garden and create a space that was conducive to everyday living, but also worked well for entertaining friends and family.
They also wanted a room that was spacious, flowed well, and was flooded with natural light.
How did you deliver the brief?
Keeping all the cabinetry around the perimeter of the room in Dove Grey gives the room a crisp, light feel to it, but we wanted to add some depth, and the contrast of the island in Charcoal works extremely well.
The space flows effortlessly from kitchen to garden, perfect for BBQs in the summer evenings.
The positioning of the bar stools on the island works well not only for casual socialising, but also just enjoying this stunning space looking out onto the garden.
“We’re so pleased with our new kitchen and forever grateful to Graham and Clare for their expert advice and professionalism.
“The new kitchen coincided with a major extension and refurbishment of our home which was a daunting prospect. However, Graham and Clare worked closely with us, thoughtfully navigating us through our design options and helping us think about our requirements both now and for the future.
“The design and installation works were superbly project managed with an attention to detail that was second to none. We enjoyed our showroom visits to view the digital impressions and choosing from a tasteful range of colours and finishes. The outcome is a beautiful kitchen which provides a welcoming and comfortable living space for family and friends alike.
“We have since worked with Graham and Clare on designs for our new living room and look forward to being wowed again!”
