The latest news and developments from Daval

Daval presents new innovations at the in-house exhibition which was held 10th-21st October 2011. A 365sq meter showroom extension showcasing 10 kitchens and 8 bedrooms was unveiled to present the latest product ranges and ideas from Daval.

At the heart of the showroom was the ‘Daval Home’ showcasing the latest innovations and showed how Daval’s furniture can be used seamlessly though out every room in the house. Electric wall units were shown in the kitchen and bedroom scenario which open and close automatically creating the ultimate experience for the end user. And as people are spending more time at home Daval presented flexible furniture solutions to suit the new lifestyle trend in combination with i-lite, Daval’s lightweight panel solution.

New Trends. Daval’s theme for 2012 was based around ‘authenticity’ showing a continuation of putting more authentic characters back into the furniture to add value into the overall design.

Simon Bodsworth, Daval’s Marketing & Development Manager presented the future direction for new trends and a selection of new ideas where dealers got to have their input into which ranges and decors were to be introduced for 2012. Simon comments “We have had an overwhelming reaction to the new ideas as our dealers say that open plan is a key trend in the kitchen and they are working on more projects to create kitchen to living or dining areas. However open plan does not mean a swing back to minimalism and they crave the warmth and character that woods can add creating a contemporary yet rustic feel. That’s why we believe our rough cut and character oaks in combination with stone or warm brown finishes will be a key trend for 2012”.

The in-house exhibition also saw the official unveiling of the new in-frame kitchen ranges Oakley and Bramham. Simon comments “These ranges will be the flagship of our brand and will help open up a new place in the market for Daval. We have had an incredible reaction so far with several dealers signing up for new displays on the spot”. At the same time Daval presented the new value bedroom range designed to target the second and third bedroom. “We try to help our dealers by extending the brands appeal to the wider consumer market”.

The annual event was well attended and will see the new innovations hit the market early 2012.
