Clean, un-broken lines; reflective, beautifully lit surfaces; sweeping curves – these are all the words you would use to describe those stunning ‘after shots’ that feature on the increasingly popular home-design TV programmes which inspire us all to design living spaces that ‘flow’, bring the ‘outdoors inside’ and create an ‘oasis’ in our crowded lives.

So it’s no surprise that, when it comes to new kitchens, people are now aspiring for looks that were once exclusive to a kitchen that might have been created by an architect or an interior designer – spaces that combine fine design with breathtaking results.

Take a look at our new range, simply named DK:45, which marries ultra sleek and simple handle-less high gloss doors with a complimentary palette of bang on-trend shades that bring natural colours and ultra modern hues together for a result that’s welcoming, warm and dramatic at the same time.

Crucially, DK:45 features smooth and curved cabinets, which uses sleek ‘J profile’ handle-less doors that allows for easy opening yet an entirely streamlined look.

With the DK:45 kitchen, you can play with a mix of high-gloss lacquers that pick up on nature’s most adaptable shades, like earthy Stone and the beautifully pale Alabaster, blending them with rich Latte and purest White. To enhance the neutral high gloss shades the DK:45 kitchen is also available in a rich and textured wood veneer, which offers a perfect balance to the high gloss and creates a new and stunningly different dimension to the space.

We are always on the look out for innovative living concepts, whether it is new designs, finishes or materials. And one of the newest materials that we’re using at the moment is i-lite.

I-lite is a great alternative to solid wood and sits perfectly within contemporary settings. Typically used to frame furniture the chunky lightweight solution really adds value into the design of the furniture. The frame or clad can be used with cabinets, worktops and even end of run furniture. It is perfect for those wanting a realistic wood effect but without the expense, it is also great if you are looking for an ethically conscious kitchen or bedroom as i-lite is made from recycled materials and uses half the amount of timber normally needed.

We are finding that people are wanting to spend more time in their homes so individual style is of huge importance once again. Open plan living is a key trend and I-lite can be used to create a flow between rooms or can be used to create a fantastic display area or media unit, anything you wish.

I-lite not only looks great but there are wonderful storage benefits too. I-lite is a lightweight solution that can transform rooms into beautiful, practical, contemporary spaces tailored especially to you.
